Obituary for Carol J. Cliby
Carol J. Cliby, 66, of Canastota died peacefully on Wednesday. She resided in the Syracuse area all her life. She was a bartender for many years and later a home health aide. Carol enjoyed her time with friends, crime/court shows on TV and Milwaukee’s Best.
She is survived by her daughters, Victoria Gibson of Canastota, Melissa (Robert) Zukowski of Syracuse, Kelisha (John) Bruinsma of Canastota and Jennifer (Gennifer) Masterpole of Clarks Summit, PA; sons James (Beth) Masterpole of Clay and Mark Masterpole of Pompey; brothers, William (Diane) Cascanett of Homer, and John (Tina) Shannahan; 18 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Shari Masterpole; and the love of her life, Garry “Toby” Taylor.
Services will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest next to Toby in Fayetteville Cemetery.
