Obituary for Joyce E. Hotaling
Joyce E. Hotaling, 87, of Chittenango, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on May 15, 2020.
Born in Syracuse on January 9, 1933, she was the daughter of Frank and Lillian Emmons. Joyce was a graduate of Manlius High School, Class of 1951. She was a bus driver for many years for Cazenovia and Chittenango School Districts.
She is predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Claude and her brother Theodore Emmons, Sr.
She is survived by her sons, Douglas (Sheila) and Robert (Carin) Hotaling; daughter, Ella Hotaling; identical twin sister, Janet Coleman; sister-in-law, Armeline Emmons; grandchildren, Curtis (Christina), Mark (Megan), and Jennifer (Nicholas); 5 great-grandchildren, Carter, Henry, Benjamin, Harrison and Thomas; beloved King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, Penny; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be private.
