Obituary for Kaye A. Couse
Kaye A. Couse, 73, formerly of Fayetteville, passed to the other side at The Grand in Chittenango after testing positive for Covid19. Born in Syracuse, she graduated from Blodgett Vocational High School in 1964. She retired from the Syracuse Police Department Crime Lab after many years.
Kaye was a loving, giving caring person. She was a member of the Manlius Activity Senior Center and the Jamesville Community Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Lynne Couse of Manlius and Eileen (Bill) McCarthy of Marcellus; nieces, Tammy McCarthy of Pompey, Holly McCarthy of Marietta and Amy (Vernon) Meyer; nephews, William McCarthy, Jr. of Auburn, Scott McCarthy and Brian McCarthy both of Marcellus; and nine great-nieces and nephews.
There will be a private graveside service. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
