Diane C. (Rabourn) Washo, 78, of Minoa, NY unexpectedly passed away to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, November 26, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
Diane was born in Auburn, she was the daughter of the late Dr. William and Christabel (Nelson) Rabourn.
Diane put her heart and soul into her career of over 35 years at Hallmark Nursing Home. She was known for being a beautiful, selfless, loving human being. She showed endless love to everyone around her and always forgave. Her favorite days would be anytime spent with her family and friends. She enjoyed reading her spiritual books, making angels, writing poetry, drawing, and singing to her grandchildren. She loved to travel to churches and shrines, including the Adoration at Saint Daniels.
Our mother raised us with the love of God in her heart, we have witnessed a multitude of miracles, and have been blessed beyond measure. We will forever cherish our memories of her, including her famous grilled cheeses and amazing pies. But most of all we will miss her tearful, beautiful prayers on the holidays and being individually showered with her holy water and the laughter that would fill the room when some received several sprays. Although we know she is rejoicing with the nine choirs of angels and is wrapped in her Father’s arms, her infectious smile, joyous laughter, and indescribable hugs will forever be missed.
She is survived by her daughters, Melanie, Marie (Brian) Honors, Mary, Hilary (George); sons, Thomas (Sandra), John, Bill (Meg); brother, William Phillips; grandchildren, T.J. (Maggie), Gene, Ryan (Stephanie), Carly (Dan), Scott (Lydia), Shane, Patrick, Daniel, Michael, Tricia, Bryan, Jacob, Seth, Alexis, Nicole, Sean, Lauren, Hannah, Grace, Megan, R.J., Jacqueline, Rachel, Scott (Sarah), Cheyenne; GiGi to her great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Freya, Leilah, Adelyn, Ari, Latyah, Caylem, Arnez, Cohen, Aralia, Skylar, Cruz, Sylver, Azaiah; her great-great-grandchild Myli; son-in-law, Rocco, close friend Mary Sunshine, several nieces and nephews, and the father of her children, Thomas.
