Rest in peace my dear friend since ninth grade. As Father Sean said at your Mass today, we can all take something from you to keep as you leave this life. Your love of everyone and your dignity and grace in the face of illness will never be forgotten. I know you are in His kingdom.

Our dear friend Joe will be deeply missed. As a friend for many years we were able to share many experiences of flying together, fishing in Canada, trips to the Florida Keys, watching Erin and Joey grow into the wonderful people they are, and many cookouts at Mari Carol. Most recently we enjoyed visits with our grandchildren with Joe and "Saint" Sally, here in Jamesville, a tour of the thousand Islands and a trip to the Adirondacks. I've never known Joe to say a cross word about anyone and his warm sense of humor prevailed despite the challenges he has recently faced. He fought a courageous battle and can now join Tom and Tom in the Lord's house.

All our love,
Karl and Cathy Hofmann
