Obituary for Frederick R. Krenzer

Frederick R. Krenzer, 86, of Manlius, NY passed away peacefully at Francis House with his family by his side on Saturday, March 30, 2019. He was born and raised on a farm in Henrietta, NY and resided in Scottsville, NY until moving to Manlius in 2013. Fred attended St. Boniface School, Aquinas Institute, College of the Holy Cross and received his master’s degree from the University of Rochester. He attended every five year reunion at Holy Cross, including the 60th anniversary reunion.

He worked for Eastman Kodak Company for over 30 years. After his retirement, he and his wife, Pat, traveled extensively, even driving to Alaska twice.

He was a communicant of St. Mary’s of the Assumption Parish in Scottsville for over 50 years. Fred volunteered at Monroe Community Hospital, was a member of the Holy Cross Club of Rochester and a Class of 1950 Aquinas Breakfast Club.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia; children, Beth Krenzer, Barbara Krenzer (John Stone), Jim (Joanne) and Peter; grandchildren, Alex Krenzer, Elizabeth Stone, John Stone, Matthew Stone, Hunter Krenzer and Chase Krenzer; sister, Eileen Mulno; and sisters-in-law, Doris Krenzer and Anna Krenzer.

He was predeceased by his infant son, Charles; parents, Fred and Marie Krenzer; and brothers, Tom and John.

A memorial mass will be offered at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Salt Springs St., Fayetteville, NY.
