Obituary for Joseph G. Hallahan
Joseph G. Hallahan, 68, of Kirkville passed away Monday morning, April 29, 2019.
Born on November 8, 1950, he was the son of Joseph and May Hallahan. Joe was a graduate of Spartan School of Aeronautics. He served in the United States Air Force from 1972 to 1976. He was a corporate pilot for over 35 years.
Joe enjoyed cooking, fishing, hunting, golfing and traveling. He loved spending time with friends, family, and his dog Bonnie.
He is predeceased by his parents and his brother William Hallahan.
Surviving is his wife of 40 years, Sally Weug Hallahan; daughter, Erin (Javier) Hallahan Rodriguez; son, Joseph (Emily) Hallahan; sisters, Maureen (Robert) Files, Patricia (William) Sullivan, and Sharon (Robert) Austin; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be Thursday, May 2 from 5 to 8pm at the R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp Corners Road, Minoa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 3 at 11am at St. Mary’s Church, Minoa. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Transplant House of Cleveland.
