Virginia A. Monroe of Fayetteville died May 18th at home. She was born on April 25, 1919 in Watertown, the daughter of Robert R. and Ethel S. Williams Wright. Virginia graduated from Watertown High School in June 1937. She married Ansel B. Monroe on May 21, 1952. He predeceased her on May 3, 1992. Virginia was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Watertown.
She is survived by two sons, Stephen R. and his wife Elaine of Fayetteville and David R. of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren; a step-granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her sister, Jean E. Wright on July 6, 1968.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service.
