Obituary for Vivian G. Phelps
Vivian G. Phelps, 98, of Manlius, passed away peacefully May 20, 2019.
Born on September 6, 1920, she was the daughter of Glenn and Goldie Crast. She was a graduate of Manlius High School. She was employed by Dey Brothers, Electrolux and retiring as the Deputy Village Clerk of Manlius.
She loved her beagles, reading, bingo and NY Yankees.
She is predeceased by her husband, Harold; brothers, Harwood, Delmont, and Jack Crast.
Survived by her children, Lorraine Riedl (Joseph Lazzaro), Glenn (Kathryn) Phelps and Jeanette Blair; grandchildren, Jennifer Hyatt and Jeremy Riedl, Patrick Phelps, Laura Aguglia, Mark Blair; seven great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Crast; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Thursday, May 23 from 4 to 7pm at the Newell-Fay Manlius Chapel, 8191 Cazenovia Road, Manlius. A funeral service will follow at 7pm at the funeral home.
