Sharyn V. Konte, 73 of Manlius passed away peacefully on Thursday January 24. She was born on November 15, 1945 in Little Rock, AR, the daughter of the late Howard and Irene Vellella. Sharyn spent much of her childhood travelling both in the United States and overseas. Sharyn graduated from Garfield Heights High School. She later earned her Bachelor's degree from Cleveland State University and her Masters from the University of Pittsburgh. She worked many years with the deaf. Sharyn enjoyed spending time with her family especially her beloved grandchildren. She always loved reading a good book. Sharyn also had special gift for gardening, which brought beauty to the world around her. She was very generous; sharing love and compassion with everyone she met.

Sharyn spent many years in Pittsburgh, PA. In 2007, she moved to Central New York to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren and share priceless love, experiences and family events. We are honored to have her spirit live on with us through her cat Sonni who brought her much love and comfort through these past few years.
